Crazy and Happy Halloween in October

Helloween is no longer the day full of horror and superstition but a festival for children, parents and teaching staffs to have masquerade party and enjoy lots of fun.
At the begining of October, kindergartens owned by CIEO all had the Halloween decorations, most of which were made by recycled materials. Asian Games Town used paper plate and hair to make spiders and macaroni to make a skeleton shape. Will and Simon from Calgary Kindergarten were wrapped by tissue, just like two mummies. Wow, a fashion show with all the children wearing DIY clothes was kicked off in Mayland Kindergarten.
¡°Trick or treat¡± is the game for all the kids to get candies in Halloween. Besides saying ¡°trick or treat¡±, the children also sang two songs for their hosts: a Halloween song Trick or Treat and Hello Song. Other great games were played in different kindergartens, the magic ¡°Bubble Show¡± of Center Stage Kindergarten made all the parents and children scream and cheer. The childern from Nanhu Kindergarten experienced a western style festival including a chance to try face painting. In Times Bund Kindergarten, there was even a game where we threw balls at a real, live monster! Halloween and fairytale, two different themes seemed to be totally unmatched, but in Sunny Kindergarten Halloween turned into a lovely show of Cinderella.
The kindergartens owned by CIEO provide a channel which links the cultures of the west with that of the Chinese. Therefore, the Chinese fairy tale Journey to the West and folk dance were presented by the parents and grandmothers from Agile Kindergarten. What an incredible night!
