On January 14, 2017, Canadian International Educational Organization (CIEO) held its 2016 annual meeting & dinner party at the convention center of Guangzhou Clifford Hotel. More than 1,000 Chinese and foreign CIEO staffs attended the annual meeting and dinner party to review the work in the past year and look forward the development of CIEO in the future with confidence and expectation. They come from all the subordinated units of CIEO which includes 13 kindergartens, 2 foreign language schools, 1 international school, 1 international high school and 9 kids’ English training centers.

The annual summary meeting started at 13:30. Ms. Jennifer Lu, Director of Preschool Department, Ms. Helen Liu, Director of Training Centers, Ms. San Chong, Director of CLS, Mr. Paul Kozyn, Director of English Education, Ms. Angela Wang, Vice General Manager, did their work report on different brands and business regions they managed. Ms. Haley Lang, General Manager, reviewed the works in the past year and explained her thoughts about the plan for CIEO and CIEO Education Foundation in the year 2017.

After the work report, Ms. Winnie Chen, President of CIEO signed a target management responsibility statement with all the directors and managers of Financial Dept., Admin & HR Department, Preschool Department, English Teach & Research Dept., International Education Dept. and the principals of kindergartens, training centers and foreign language schools.

After the signing ceremony, President Winnie delivered her speech to review the work on 2016 the year of Teacher’s Virtue & Love and objectives for 2017 the year of Reputation.

All CIEO staffs and teams worked very hard in the past year. President Winnie and other CIEO directors awarded the prizes below with certificate/trophy and bonus to the winners.

After the prize awarding ceremony, new year greeting videos from all the schools were played as a break before the dinner party. The MCs announced the start of the dinner party after an inspiring dance Song of Golden Age presented by Canadian Can-Am Kindergarten. President Winnie and the management toast to all CIEO staffs and wish them a happy new year.

An art show with various forms like sign language song, dance, scene play, magic show and recitation presented by CIEO kindergartens and schools lasted three hours. Lucky draw during the performance also interested the audience. 60 staffs won third prize, 30 staffs won second prize, 4 staffs won first prize and 3 staffs won One-Thousand Cash prize.

The dance Chicken Chicken prepared by head office won a special prize for its attraction. The lively performance and cute costumes made the dance a happy ending of the dinner party.

Some outstanding staffs’ family member were invited to witness the achievements of their beloved.

The dinner party ended at 21:00.

During the week of the annual meeting and dinner party, a series of meetings for Marketing Department and management as well as the principals’ work report meeting was held to review the work in the past year and set up a plan for future work.

CIEO will take the enforcement of Private Education Promotion Law as an opportunity to further develop high quality education with improving profession capacity and professional management.
