June 1st, 2016 was a memorable day for the kids in grade one. Not only did they celebrate the Children¡¯s Day, but also attended the initiation ceremony of the Young Pioneers Club.
In this initiation ceremony, 47 kids entered the Young Pioneers club honorably. With the song of the Young Pioneers, the standard-bearers did the ceremony in high spirit. The kids stood up and sang the League Anthem of the Young Pioneers with great spirit.
The most exciting moment was when Miss Aimee, the instructor of the schools¡¯ Young Pioneers Club, gave the list of new young pioneers. The new young pioneers walked onto the stage and waited on the old young pioneers to tie their scarves for them. They saluted each other after.
The new members Xiaoxuan Zhang and Joyce Peng gave a speech representing the new young pioneers.
At last, all the new young pioneers cried out ¡° We are ready¡± when Miss Aimee did the appeal.
Entering the Young Pioneers Club is a challenge and also a dream to fulfill. We hope the kids can start their life from here and make their dreams come true.
