Crafting Excellence, Showcasing Professionalism - 2024 CIEO Teacher Skills Competition | Hits:56 AddTime:2025-6-10 11:54:26 | On October 26, 2024, the Canadian International Education Organization (CIEO) successfully concluded its inaugural Teacher Skills Competition at the Canadian International School in Guangzhou. This competition featured live lessons and lesson presentations, comprehensively evaluating teachers on their professionalism, teaching objectives, preparation, instructional process, and time management skills. Seventeen outstanding teachers participated across three sessions and four groups, showcasing their abilities with the goal of enhancing the professionalism of the teaching team, promoting the exchange and innovation of teaching methods, and highlighting the talents of teachers in the new era.Mr. Simon Chen, Executive President of CIEO, delivered the opening speech, emphasizing, "Education is love, and the development of teachers directly determines the growth of students. Through the exchange and sharing of teaching experiences, teachers not only enhanced their professional abilities but also brought renewed vitality to the educational mission of the group. Every teacher who steps onto this stage is a respected educator. We firmly believe that the heart of education lies in the teachers, and their growth is key to fostering student development and advancing educational progress."The competition was organized across CIEO's International Education Division, Canadian Foreign Language Schools Division(CLS), Preschool Education Division, and Children’s Growth & Development Center, following school preliminaries, regional semi-finals, and group finals.
