In order to further improve the awareness of fire safety including fire control and life-saving strategies for the children, teachers and workers, Sunny Canadian Bilingual Kindergarten conducted a fire drill on May 18th, 2016.

Before starting the drill, the teachers explained to the kids the escape plan and most importantly the fire emergency number when there is a fire. The drill began at 9:00 am with the fire alarm sounding from all corners of the school. The kids strictly followed teacher’s instructions. They quickly grabbed the wet towels to cover mouth and nose following the fire exit route to arrive at the safety location after the fire alarm.
