On June 1st the Guangdong Jiayou Educational Foundation received news that the son of a staff member at Nanhu Kindergarten, a 7-year-old boy, was found to be suffering from leukemia. We immediately called on all the Branches of CIEO to collect donations for his surgical treatment. By June 12th CIEO had raised 616964.08 Yuan. The exact total form is here as follows.

The money raised is enough for initial treatments and so we ended our fundraising drive on June 12th. The Jiayou Educational Foundation, on behalf of Lu Junwen and his family, want to send out a huge thanks to all our philanthropists.
For the use of all charitable funds the Jiayou foundation has consulted with the Department of Civil Affairs for Guangdong Province and our legal team. After communicating with Lu Junwen’s parents we will sign the necessary agreements for allocating the funds collected and we assure all donors that the money will be used exclusively for Lu Junwen’s treatment and recovery.
