The Asian Games Town Kindergarten is next to the Asian Games Town media village. It was opened in September 2012 and is a full-time private kindergarten operated by the Canadian International Education Organization. The Canadian International Education Organization which was founded in 2000 has its headquarters based in Calgary Alberta, Canada.
Our kindergarten covers an area of 2712 square meters of which the school building itself has 2224 square meters over 2 floors. The outdoor activities area consists of 1600 square meters. Our kindergarten create the kindergarten¡¯s characteristics, layout and beautiful environment making sure it keeps the interest of all the children helping them learn at every opportunity. With large outdoor ground area, offices and classrooms with well equipped facilities, this makes it a perfect place to support a healthy and happy kindergarten for the children to grow up and learn. We set up the music room, reading room, art room, science room a comprehensive games room and so on. We also built a mini golf course, swimming pool, skating rink, plant growing area, sand pit, 30 meters rubberized running track and outdoor space. We purchased a large playground activity centre, pianos, tables and chairs, sports equipment and many teaching facilities. All classrooms are equipped with an interactive multimedia electronic whiteboard, computer, television and other advanced teaching equipment which fully meets the needs and requirements of kindergarten teaching.
Our kindergarten strongly believes in the principle "Education is love" and therefore we adhere to the "individual attention + respect each other + perfect independent learning + independence + social development + explore opportunities" education idea which makes the children happy. We actively carry out all the different education teaching activities and the kindergarten now has seven classes consisting of 2 big classes, 2 middle classes and 3 small classes.
In both the 2012 and 2013 school semester our kindergarten was rated as a ¡°Guangzhou Panyu District Good Kindergarten ¡±. Also in July 2013 the kindergarten was awarded "The Guangzhou Panyu District Highest Level Kindergarten".
